A dry red wine from the extremely steep Križ site, where each
vine yields only about half a kilogram of grapes. It is characterized by a dense, juicy
body, soft tannins, and pronounced fruit aromas. The wine is named Milo in honour
of our late father, who enthusiastically planted and cultivated this vineyard by hand,
and worked on it using only a hoe. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in open
vessels, after which the wine ages for about one year in neutral, wooden 600 litre
barrels, followed by an additional six months in bottles. The alcohol content is
14–15% vol.
